Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
Welcome to wpsitedesigns.com. By using this website or hiring us for services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Offered
We provide website design and development services, specializing in WordPress for small and local businesses. Specific project details like timeline, features, and pricing will be included in a written agreement or proposal.
2. Client Responsibilities
To keep your project running smoothly, you agree to:
- Provide required content, images, or logins on time
- Respond to feedback requests quickly
- Make payments as outlined in your proposal or invoice
If there are delays in communication or payment, your project timeline may be affected.
3. Payments and Refunds
Our payment terms are typically:
- A deposit to begin work
- Final payment due upon project completion
We don’t offer refunds for work already completed. Partial refunds may be considered if a project is canceled early and only at our discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
After final payment:
- You own the rights to your website design and content
- We may display your project in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed
You’re responsible for making sure all content you provide (text, images, etc.) is legal to use and doesn’t violate copyrights or trademarks.
5. Website Hosting and Maintenance
If you use a hosting provider we recommend, please note that it is a third-party service. We are not responsible for hosting performance, downtime, or related issues.
We offer an optional Annual Website Maintenance Plan for $1,200.00 per year. This includes:
- Monthly updates to WordPress core, plugins, and themes
- Security monitoring and minor hardening as needed
- Performance checks and issue resolution
- Priority support for minor updates or fixes
Please note that pricing for the maintenance plan is subject to change in future billing cycles. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect your current term.
Clients not enrolled in a maintenance plan are responsible for keeping their site updated. Outdated plugins or WordPress versions can lead to security risks or site issues.
Ongoing maintenance services are only provided to clients actively enrolled in the plan.
